Shallow sand over rock and crazy high winds ended up making this a horrible camp spot. My stakes wouldn’t stay in the ground and we had to tear things down during the storm. Sure was pretty before that though.
Stock tires, a few inches of crazy slick mud, and a slight slope had me sliding off the road. Luckily @backroadexploration was able to pull me back on track.
Another amazing view from Wild Horse Road.
Fording the Fremont river.
Sometimes you just have to stop and stare at the flowers.
Wild Horse Road will take you from Goblin Valley State Park to Capital Reef NP and is an amazing drive.
Mountains make a great backdrop.
Almost 9 months ago I sold this truck to buy my 4Runner. While I love my 4Runner and it is clearly the right vehicle for me right now, sometimes I miss having a truck.
I don’t know what primordial desire makes me like diving through puddles so much.
Check out those wildflowers.
